We are sad to say this will be the first year that we will not be hosting our Annual Community Christmas party! Each year we had so much fun with live music, sleigh rides, crafts, treats, and of course Santa!
While things look different this year we have decided to still collect donations for the Salvation Army Toy Drive. They have had to cut off registration alot sooner this year due to the lack of donations and we hope we will be able to help more families enjoy Christmas this year with our donations. Each year they provide gifts for up to 8000 children!! Our community members are unable to go out shopping due to restrictions so they have been donating money that the management staff will purchase gifts with prior to our donation date of Dec.21st. So far we have raised just over $1,003 and each day it is growing.
We wanted to let the community know that we will still be accepting toy donations that can be dropped off at the front doors of our building up until the morning of December 22nd when Salvation Army will be picking up the donations. If you wish to donate please drop off at the front doors of Rocky Ridge Retirement Community 10715 Rocky Ridge Blvd. N.W Calgary Alberta T3G 4G1.
