It is ‘National Heart Month’ and so our residents are invited to a program called ‘Try it Thursdays’ where they can learn different activities, try out recipes and get all the information they need to look after their hearts!
February is also the month of love and it’s a leap year to boot! Our residents are invited to a special Valentine’s Party with entertainment by the dance group ‘The Gliders’.
Later in the month, we will celebrate Mardi Gras with entertainment by Dave Morris. Residents can don their own Madris Gras masks that they will make at a crafting ‘Maker’s Meet’.
Also this month, the Rocky Ridge Bus will be heading out for some great outings to The Calgary Tower, Devonian Gardens and the Bow Habitat Station.
